Miles and I established The Values Partnership in 2003 to provide strengths and values-based mentoring and consulting services to individuals and organisations. We are currently working with individuals and teams in Australia and internationally.

I’m passionate about the development of human potential, and have over 30 years’ international experience educating, training and mentoring leaders in organisations, government, the arts, politics and the community.

Over that time my work has impacted the lives of more than 10,000 people. I’ve worked with individuals, corporations, and community organisations, helping clients to identify their strengths and purpose, and connect to what’s important to them – their values.

After working together my clients find they have the confidence to make positive, often life-changing decisions, break through personal barriers, achieve their highest goals, and ultimately lead a more purposeful and successful life, contributing to their business, their families, and their communities.

My values and beliefs are integral to the work I do.
Faith, family, and philanthropy are the three pillars on which I build my life, and are at the heart of everything I do.

I am married to the love of my life, Miles. He’s Canadian and we have been married for 25 years. Together we have one daughter, Lily, who’s in her early twenties. She’s the other love of my life.

Originally from the UK, we have been living in Perth, Western Australia, since 2006.

My husband and I are philanthropists and encourage others to think about giving away their money.

We recently invested in a public foundation with Australian Philanthropic Services. You can read our story here.

My not-for-profit work is very important to me.

For 25 years I have been a volunteer leader with The Hunger Project, a global, non-profit, strategic organisation committed to the sustainable end of world hunger by 2030. I am currently the Chair of the Development Board in Western Australia. For the past five years I have been leading women’s leadership immersion programmes for the Hunger Project in partnership with Business Chicks to Bangladesh, Malawi and Uganda.

I’ve been mentor to executives and leaders of government agencies, companies and community-based organisations in education, industry, women’s development, public health and international development in the UK, USA, Europe, Australia and Asia.

My client base is diverse, ranging from executives and board members of multinationals like BHP Billiton, Shell, PwC, Ford, Esso, Leighton Construction, Woodhead Architects and P&O to agencies like the Australia Council for the Arts, the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and Goodstart Early Learning to students, women in career transition, and young people making a difference with the poor and marginalised.

Since 2012 I have been a consultant mentor for McCarthy Mentoring, Sydney based company offering formal mentoring programs for companies and member-based organisations.

In 2014 I also became a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, after 12 years experience of incorporating the Gallup strengths approach in my consulting business.
