Helen Benton
Helen has been involved with The Values Partnership for three years. She was attracted by the positive impact that values can have on people's productivity, and their desire to contribute and make a difference at work.
Previously she worked for 12 years in an international organisational consultancy supporting senior executives to design and implement critical strategies to achieve performance breakthroughs, and roll out organisational transformation programmes. As European business leader, Helen was responsible for a sales budget exceeding $2 million per annum.
She has worked all over the world, working mostly in the resource, process and construction industries, producing substantial results for clients. For example, Helen was involved in the turnaround of one of Europe's largest petrochemical complexes, working with the leadership team to restructure successfully the entire operation, modernising working practices and procedures to bring it to profitability. She also coached senior management teams of major North Sea energy developments, bringing together contractors and principals to achieve 25-30% cost savings on £300-800m capital projects.
Helen has been a coach for over 18 years, working with people individually and in groups on communication, being effective and producing results.
Helen originally trained to be a teacher, and subsequently moved into training, then consultancy and coaching.
